For this project, we were told to design a six-step instructional graphic that could range from humorous, food related, pop culture, or social situations. I went with a humorous approach and designed it on how to pretend you are working. My idea was inspired by workplace environments where people try to look busy. I used a mix of professional and playful elements to show the contrast between productivity and appearance. The design includes illustrative imagery, variety of layouts, strong heading typography, as well as, Helvetica body text to keep a corporate feel. Overall, I focused on balancing humor with a clean, work design style.
